Maori lessons in Room 3

We have been lucky enough to have a selection of Maori tutors coming into Room 3.  They have taught us Te Reo (The Maori language), waiata (songs), tikanga (customs and traditions) and Maori myths and legends.  We have enjoyed learning new phrases and words in Maori and listening to a variety of stories like "How Maui slowed the sun".  The waiata and kapa haka dances have been fun and we have enjoyed putting Maori words to actions.
